Syston had an orchestra visiting from their French twin town Deville les Rouen in 1995, and Steve and Peter joined them on stage

Derrick Fawsitt, bass trombonist, was a key organiser of the tours to his native Ireland which took place in 1999 and 2001
This was one very well-received concert in the National Gallery in the centre of Dublin on 31st May 1999. The programme included Euryanthe, Brahms 2 and the Dvorak violin concerto, soloist Gina McCormack.
